my experience at Fortis Hospital Noida

Last month, I had a very bad experience at Fortis Hospital Noida.

I had gone there for a medical test. I gave my car keys to the valet and when I came back they could not find my keys. I was made to run here and there for an hour looking for the keys without any luck.

I raised this issue with some Chhaya from Patient Services department. She was very polite, listened to me patiently and tried to help find the keys, but no luck.

The matter took an ugly turn when Bhaskar Sharma, GM of Fortis Noida entered the scene. He asked my contact details which I promptly gave him. He asked me to wait for some more time. I told him that I was already very late for the office and need to rush back. I was planning to go home and get another set of keys. I told him, if he finds the keys, he should send it at my address and asked him if he can provide a letter of apology. He refused to do that. He very clearly said that he will not apologize. He was not even verbally apologetic. I told him that in that case there was nothing else to talk about. He came after me shouting in the corridor, challenging me to do anything I can do about it.

This guy was outrageously rude, ill mannered and lacked basic etiquettes.

I raised this issue with the Dr. Ashok V Chordiya, head of Fortis Hospital Noida. He apologized and promised to look into the matter.

And next day, I got a call from the head of security, Fortis, saying that they have found the keys and he came to my office to give me the keys.

At the end, I am happy I got the keys back but I am still shocked how unprofessional the staff of the hospital is. Bhaskar Sharma, I found his profile at linkedin.

He is a MBA..I am not surprised to see that. All he knew was talk, talk and talk. His profile says that he is a specialist in managing customer environment! What a joke..:)
