People in India had more that 90 minutes to get away from the sea shores, but....but they had no warning. Why they had no warning, because the Indian government thought that spending Rs. 1000 crores on tsunami warning system was just not worth it. Now that thousands of people have died, can we still say that it was not worth!!!! It is easy to make decisions sitting in air conditioned offices in New Delhi and it is another thing to feel the pain of the people, who have suffered. Can we spend 1000 crores now and bring back their happiness? NO......life is precious. What has happened is not a natural disaster but a criminal offence.
When two trains collided in Punjab, our great Lallu Prasad(I simply hate this guy) said that it was a criminal offence on part of the station masters and that they should be prosecuted. FIR's were filed agains them.
But Mr. Lallu Prasad, what about the current situation? If the stations masters can be held responsible for trains colliding, shouldn't the Prime Minister of India be held responsible for the death of thousands of people? Shouldn't he be put in jail for life?
Whats the use of hi-fi satellites and rockets and missiles? We invested millions building them to save Indian lives from enemey. But still millions of Indians have died! Shouldn't ISRO, the weather department all should be prosecuted and put in jail for life? Where is the accountability of these people? Will they get away so easily with the blood of thousands of Indians on their hands?
Rs 1000 crores could have saved thousands lives!!!!!!!!!!! and we still chose to save those 1000 crores. SHAME ON US........
